Three years ago, 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆—𝗜 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺. The weight of uncertainty felt overwhelming, and I knew I had to find a way to create a future that allowed me to live on my own terms.

𝘔𝘺 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘮.

As a mother of seven and a breast cancer thriver, I knew after my 32-year marriage ended that I had to 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵, and for the past two years, I’ve experienced the kind of location freedom that lets me travel, explore, and live life on my own terms.
